No, it just tries to keep the rpms below the setting.

HAHA, I hope not!! But, no the rev limiter is in place to keep you from damaging the engine. I won't lie, I have hit it probably 10 times. Moreso with my thundermax, it pulls hard all the way to redline.

I think it's 5800 stock and if you get the stage 1 download it goes to 6200, never been there myself.

Thanks, I'm installing the Thunder Max in acouple of weeks and now I have a reference to set the rev limiter at.
