Default Arlen Ness Big Sucker

I am about to purchase a new Hi-FLow air filter for my 2016 Street Glide Special and was leaning towards the Arlen Ness Big Sucker. The filter that fits and still be able to use the OEM filter cover has a raised rubber piece on one side to seal against the cover. My question is can this rubber piece be removed at a later time after I purchase a new flat cover. I have seen the Screamin Eagle brand and the rubber piece is a separate piece so a different cover can be installed at a later time.

Thanks

I think I have decided to get the Arlen Ness but unsure about whether to get one with a black cover or one with a chrome cover. Anyone have any pics of there bikes with either one on it. I have a 2016 Street Glide in Charcoal Denim. Thanks.

Also does anyone have the Vance &

Hines VO2 and if so what do you think. I see the Vance & Hines uses rubber tubes for the valve breathers.
