There are wiring systems designed for custom bikes that might help you. The one I like and a pal has used is by Motogadget, who make a module that acts as a central point for all the bike's wiring. There are other similar wiring kits, so also check out Ebay.

 

Is the ECM and BCM still good ? This bike has the BCM module and i don't think it would perform correctly without the proper wiring harness. There are very touchy to how long the wires are and the size of them. You may be money ahead to just buy the factory harness and be done with it. You could bypass the factory stuff and if you can get it to run you could always wire the lights and other stuff up. Good luck with your project.
