Default Thundermax Question

I have an 07 road glide w/ness big sucker and vance and hines basic slipons with stock headers.. I am getting a lot of decel popping/gurgling with this thundrermax unit. It does have auto tune and i've put over 1k miles sine putting it on. I called zippers and was told to buy a freeze plug from napa autoparts, drill a 1/2" hole in it and put it in the left side header pipe in front of the muffler and this should fix the popping. It just sounds like an odd fix. What do you think? Thanks in advance for your replies.

Read this post. The fix there should take care of the popping with the Thundermax.
