I have checked the code, and it was dumping the cam sensor code. Forget the number of flashes, but I checked it with my manual and thats it.

Default RE: Engine issue. Engine Light on...UPDATE

Update on what I found over the weekend. Well, I gotta tell you trouble shooting this Cam Position Sensor can be a bitch without the Harley "break-Out" box. You really have to be creative when getting voltages off the Ignition module. I was surprised at how thorough the Harley manual was in troubleshooting this problem. I followed the flowchart and came up with a faulty CPS, so I will pick one up and install it this coming weekend. If that doesn't fix it, well then... they say it has to be the ignition module. Lets hope I don't have to shotgun this too much. Could get expensive!!!

By the way. Does anyone know how to reset the codes on these bikes? ('99Dyna)

Will post final fix when I am done!

Try disconnecting the battery for a couple of minutes - that almost always does the trick.

Well, I have tried the battery trick, but that didn't do it for me.
I think I will try the Ignition module over the CPS. Since I feel hiccup when the light comes on initially. To me, that is more likely a Ignition module versus the Cam Postion Sensor.

Any thoughts? Price difference is IM = $149, CPS = $30
