Brake Light/ Relay Issue
Hey Fellas
I've got a '10 FLHX with a brake light issue. It seems as though my brake is always on "Braking" brightness. When I pull the brake relay the brake light goes to a regular "driving" brightness. When I apply either front or rear brake nothing happens because the brake is bright as if the brake is already applied.
I've checked the brake light fuse, the accessory fuse & they look fine too me.
I'd installed an amp & wired my GPS directly into the CLA inside the fairing.
I decided not to overload the CLA so wired the in fairing power antenna to another power source.
In an effort to trouble shoot if the whole CLA thing was an issue I undid the stereo/gps/powered antenna & switched the brake & accessories fuses as a "just in case" all scenarios resulted in the same thing... a brake light that looks constantly "engaged" (bright like when applying the brakes) & nothing when actually applying the brakes.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
