Thundermax ECM without O2-Sensors
Hi all,
I have a 04 Fat-Boy on the bench that needs a new ECM.
I have the Thundermax EXM Wave Tune ready for install.
Since the bike does not have O2-Sensor-Bungs and we only want a running bike, nothing special, I am wondering if it is possible to run the bike with Thundermax ECM and without the O2-Sensors.
With Power Vision it is possible to switch O2-Sensors on/off and change beetween open/closed loop.
Since I am new to Thundermax is this also possible with it?
Would safe me a lot of time while otherwise I have to weld bungs to the exhaust.
Best regards
Volker

Early Gen 1 and 2 systems the o2 sensor was optional. Gen 3 it's built in. I don't see any settings to disable the sensor on a Gen 3. You could send email to Tmax and ask.
Going without the sensor pretty much dictates that you'll need to tune on a dyno as tolerances on feuling are not that great. I'd weld the bungs on. Even if there is a map of your exact build, it could be off some.
