Hi,my 02 fatboy is slow dropping to idle between shifting gears and/or just wrapping the throttle in neutrol ! I thought maybe it was running lean because it has aftermarket pipes and running stock program on fuel.I then put the power commander 3 on it and had it dialed in from an hd shop.It pulls much better now but still slow dropping to idle !! It was also checked for intake leaks and none were found. I heard this was a common problem in 2002 and to check this forum out for possible advice !! Anyone heard of this,or is it the nature of the beast in 02 ? Thanks !

 

Well did u check your throttle/idle cable been the first place I would of looked

 

Yea theres about a quarter inch of slack in the throttle which is plenty I figure ! I'm wondering if this is just the way 2002 efi v-twins were set up! Anyone have an 2002 efi harley that acts different/like it should ?
