The subject line should say it all and I apologize if this is a stupid question as I will openly admit that I still consider myself to be a newbie with regards to understanding Dyno results.

I recently added an exhaust, intake, and race tuner to my 2007 Road King Custom; however, after reading an article on www.nightrider.com
(http://www.nightrider.com/biketech/h...erformance.htm) , it seems that my results were not what I expected?

I added the following items to my stock 07 RKC:

1. Screaming Eagle Race Tuner
2. Screaming Eagle Heavy Breather - Intake
3. Vance & Hines Big Shot Duals - True Duals

The results from the Dyno were:
Max Power - 68 HP
Max Torque - 89.4


My concern is that according to the www.nightrder.com site, a stock FLH.. produces 71 HP & 90 ft.lb. of torque. Is it possible that adding pipes, tuner, and intake might have reduced the HP & TQ? If so, does anyone have any other recommendations to increase HP & TQ?

I'm a little confused.. and desperately hoping someone could shed some light on my confusion. Attached are my Dyno results..

Gettin' 75/84 on an '06, 88", true duals...if that helps!

I believe the numbers on the Nightrider site are out of the HD catalog.
They seem inflated from what I'veread. AI has dynoed a couple 07's that came in around 65/77 if I remember correctly.
My numbers are 73/84 which are about average. PC111, stage 1 07 Ultra.
I'd say your tq. is excellent and might be off 5 or so on hp. Not sure I'd mess with the tune as good torque is what really counts.

A few folks have suggested that I add some cams (www.head-quarters.com) to gain some of the HP back.

Any comments, suggestions? Or should I simply leave the bike as is... after all it does sound GREAT!
