OK, Having a prob with my Security Key light coming on i switched over to a hydro clutch and now the light comes on n off for no reason...2012 Street Glide....i did put the clutch switch in when i did the swap...need help..

 

have you checked the batteries in FOBs

 

I don't have an alarm system so no FOB's

 

if you have a 12' SG and you have a red security light, afraid to tell you that you do have a security system. :-)

 

No I didn't pay for an alarm. It might be set up for one to
Be installed. That's what the dealer told me I could get it later doen the road

 

Just because you have a security light come on does not mean security system is installed. When the light comes on it means your bike has thrown a code. Do a code search and see what the code is. Security light means code in TSM or TSSM if you have the security

 

see.. learn something new everyday. For some reason I was under the impression that diag codes only light up the CEL. Guess that's cause I've never had a problem with a TSM or TSSM..

lol. Yeah I only know because it happened to me before I had the security installed. I threw a code because of a problem with the turn signals. I believe if the engine light comes on it means a code in the ecm

 

OK thanx i know theres a code have to ck the turns but everything is working fine..HMMM?

 

Does the light stay on? They code is only present if the light stays on.
