OK before I start. I know it is a tuner. But does it come in a box with wires? What does one look like? What do you get with it? Why is it married to one bike?

 

SERT comes with a little black box with two connections- one end goes to your PC, other end to the ECM. It's married to the bike cuz the MoCo likes to make money - a chip inside the box gets updated with the bike's VIN number (or something similar that's unique with each bike). First time the SERT communicates to the ECM, it's married.

Today, you buy the SERT - comes with a CD which has the PC software and a listing of canned maps. You will need to also order the cables for the SERT.

 

It's a breath mint...comes in peppermint or spearmint flavors.
