Default Jack Pineau (Dad)

Yesterday my father John (Jack) Pineau was called home after a 12 day fight in the ICU with pneumonia and other health complications.

He lived a very reserved life, trying to keep everyone around him happy. Anyone that knew him, knew he was a genuine and very caring man. He loved his family, animals and motorcycles. He hasn't ridden since I think 2017, too many health problems. He still held on to that Ultra until about 2021 when he sold it to a friend.

I do not know if he was an active member of this forum. He was RC of the NH Seacoast HOG chapter as I recall, and took great pride in this. Also a retired Teamster and I believe a member of their riding club as well.

I love you Dad, I hope they have Harleys in heaven and I hope they're a lot cheaper than they are down here. I look forward to seeing you again, but I'm gonna take my time here first. ❤️

Sounds like he was a great guy and you have good memories to draw on.

Jack looks a lot like me (and about the same age). My condolences to you, my friend. Losing one's Dad is a very, VERY painful thing, if you were close. I'm proud that he rode as long as he could and impressed that he took the initiative to give his time and talents to other riders. If there are Harleys in heaven, we'll all ride together. Blessings out to you, parn0ble!

Sorry about the loss of your Dad. I lost mine in 2011. I kept some of his tools and always feel close to him when I use them. You might want to make sure you take some tools home.

Thank you, I will be, he was always willing to help out with home projects and bike work, has a lot of tools.

I also intend to reach out to his friend he sold his Ultra to and ask that they reach out to me when they're ready to sell it.

Thank you all for the responses. My dad gave me the motorcycle bug, although he rarely even wore a helmet he sure worried about me on my bike all the time. I spared him knowing that just a couple days before he passed I lowsided after hitting some sand in a corner. Minor damages to my bike and just a couple bruises for myself thankfully... one of the last things he asked before he was unable to speak was that my stepmother make sure I got home safe after visiting him.

I'll miss the hell out of this man. Thanks again for the support everyone.

You might want to take a break from riding for s while. When you’re tired and distracted, you’re more likely to crash. Hang in there.
