Tapered alignment pins are used for Evo and Shovelhead oil pumps.
The TC and M8 oil pumps are aligned by rotating the pump while tightening the 4 mount bolts.

I got some help yesterday and lifted the box off no problem. There is no way I could change the shocks on a 17 Freewheeler without removing the box.
