Has anyone ever replaced there transmission mainshaft rollers with a sealed or caged bearing? I am going thru my trans and trying to upgrade it and replace worn parts. Any other suggestions as to other aftermarket parts that make a difference? thanks.

 

Never heard of anyone doing that mod. That would take one helluva machinist to get that done....however, anything is possible!
I have gone to a bearing distributorfor replacement bearings onboth the clutch drive bearing and countershaft bearing in the trap-door. Saved a few bucks and both bearings were made in USA.

You can't go wrong with Barnett clutch plates/springs either. Been using those for 20 years.
