Hello forum newbe here. Trying to find out where and what clutch hub bearing to get for the barnett scorpion clutch set up on my shovel ? I found a part number on barnett's parts list but have yet to find it online. I will be calling them in the am but curious if anyone has replaced one ? Thanks in advance.
first thing is to remove the bearing - even cheap china bearings follow the standard and the number for it is on the edge under what you cant see installed
I would go to a bearing supplier and have them get you a double metal shielded bearing as it keeps the steel fragments out but lets oil in
if you run a belt drive get the rubber shields on the bearing you can remove them and put aircraft landing wheel bearing grease in them if you want
USA or any hi end bearing - the guy will tell you whats good and whats not
