Hello gman,......we have a cpl things in common. I live not far from you in the mooresville lake norman area But the poor side of the interstate, lol) and I also ride a heritage and my wife of 30 years is from WV and she and I lived there back in the early 80s. I was a coal miner. We also live for the parkway. Go there as often as we can. Maybe you could join us sometime. I like to take old mountain road up through the wilksboro area or just run 64 to lenoir and then to blowing rock where we normally go toward ashville. Ride safe and often. Mark

Thanks. I kind of figured the overall width would make it. The rim width was a little concern but not that far off either. Thanks again. Gary

    I have an 08 Heritage.

If you can read the (tiny) print on those Dunlop charges I posted in that thread, you will notice that the overall width of the E3 160 is near the same as the 401 150, maybe even a hair narrower. Fit under the fender was not an issue at all.

However, it is rated for a 3 1/2 rim and our rims are 3 inch.
It's working out just fine on this bike, as well as my last bike. I like the tire.
