Hi brother, hope you had a nice time while you were down here. Fairing went on easily and looks just like it came on the bike!!! I'm used to/ prefer looking thru a windshield and this one is about 2'' shorter than what I've been behind. Not getting any buffeting/ headshake with either a skid lid or my full face, at some point I'll probably snag one of those shields with the flip at the top of it. Really enjoying it so far and will put it thru a road test over to Daytona next weekend. Thx again and I'm glad I was able to help you out and get what I wanted at the same time, Ride safe (soon I hope) and take care. Pat

Hey man, how did the fairing work out for you? I'm back in cold Chicago and won't be riding for a few months

    2 5/8 mini tach mounting bracket fits 04-later xl customs--Part# 69426-04
    2 5/8 mini tach-black face 68953-04, or 2 5/8 silver face-- Part3 68986-04

    2 5/8 mini tach gauge housing-- Part# 67524-04.
I have this setup on my 05 and the tach is above the speedo, perfect location. I pay more attention to it than my speedo. Hopr this helps.

Thanks for this info...I assume then that a 69829-06 (tach with shift light) could work on a 2004 1200 Custom as well. Just curious, where did you connect the pink signal wire?

    Thanks,
    Keith
