Good job on moving the thread!

You can edit individual messages in a thread similarly. This gets darn useful when someone goes off and you want to just delete the post, not the whole thread.

When you're looking through a thread, you'll see the same sort of check boxes on the right of each post.
Click on the check box of a post you wish to do something with.
Now look down at the very bottom left corner of the browser window. You'll see Quick Reply, Reply, and Post Tools.
Click Post Tools, and a pop-up of actions you can take will appear. Usually you'll use Delete Posts.
One more pop-up to say why you're doing what you're doing, and you're done with the edit of the post.

If you want to try it, in the Stranded and Frustrated thread, I posted a beer clinking emoji at the end. Go ahead and delete that post of mine. Do say it's for practice or such.

    John,
You should be able to move a thread over in the Sportster forum.
Go to the Sportster Models forum, where you see all the threads.
On the far right should be a little box beside each thread. Check the box beside the "Stranded and Frustrated" thread.

Now scroll down to almost the bottom of that page. You want to look for the bottom of the list of threads. On the right, just below the list of threads, it'll say "Page 1 of 2452"
Just below that, on the right, it will have "Moderation" and in a box it will show "Delete Threads"
Left click the box and it will open up a list of actions you can take.
    Select "Move Threads".
To the right, it will show "Go (1)". The 1 is for the one thread you've selected to move.
    Press that "Go" button.
Now it will pop up with a new window, where you can select where to move the thread to.
Click that box to open up the selection. Pick the sub-forum "Sportster S".
Click "Move thread" and it will be done.

Never heard of them, I'm on the other side, here in San Diego. Take care.
