I bought a slightly used Ridewright wheel off the Harley dealer in Denver. It came with a Metzler 880 and was set up for dual discs. Some customer tried it on a dresser and didn't like it. I had to make up new wheel spacers. But all in all, it worked out quite well.

Hi joe, what front spoke rim did you go with? I am looking at Ultima and paughco. Thanks again for your help.

Cool thanks. Let me see if I got this right. You put the fat bob triple trees on that are negitive rake and it reduced trail from 5.1 to 3.7. Wouldn’t it increase the trail figure or did you do something else?

Go to the for sale section for the goodies you need. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...k-40mm-cv.html

Not mine and I don't know the guy.....
    My trail is 3.7 inches

I am going to get the dual disk rim and run single at first (if possible) then hunt for the other parts.

I am currently away from home and will probably return on Tue. So my answers will be from memory!
    Rim size is 21 x 3-1/2.
    Tire is 120/70-21 Metzler.
Fat Bob sliders are the same length as WGs.
Never figured the trail because it handles very well. I'll look at it on Tue.
You will have to make up some new fender brackets. Nothing difficult at all. When I get back, I'll dig up the drawing. Basically, you need to raise the fender an inch using 1" x 1/8" X about 4"long flat stock with 3 holes drilled in it.
I assume you will want to go dual disc so you will need to get a FB master cylinder, brake lines another disc and so on. I got lucky and scored a complete FB front end so most of the parts were already there.
It's not a difficult job, more of just a pain in the ass.
I'll get back to you on Tue.

Hi joe, I am considering doing the same upgrades to my wide glides front end as you have done . I would appreciate if you could answer a few questions. What size rim and tire ? Are the fat bob sliders a different length than wide glides? And what would be your trail measurement with the fat bob triple trees on the wide glide frame. Thank you.
