Thanks to Mustang, my new seat came in a few weeks early. Now just waiting on the wind and rain to let up a bit for a test ride......

Today, had my 1K service done. Had them make spots stay on when High Beam is on. Talked extensively about Stage 1, decided to wait till spring to see what options are available then.
This week:
Installed Bright *** Light tail light, BAL-3RT.
Installed Harley Tombstone Run/Turn/Brake Aux Lights P/N 67800589 in the chrome saddlebag fillers.
Installed Custom Dynamics Run/Brake rear fender LED tip light. P/N GEN-FT-TOUR-R
Installed Custom Dynamics LED Dynamic Ringz in front turn signals. P/N GEN200-AW-1157

what didn't you like about the CVO seat? I have had a couple of Street Glide Specials and do not like the stock seat that you are switching to.

The rear turn signals are gone, The adjustable Tour pack mount, None of my LRS shields, Windshield bag, My 3/4" floorboard extensions, Passenger foot-up pegs (mentioned earlier), SE air element.. of course all lights on mine are now smoke LED, I thought I could use my taillight ~nope, Saddle/tour pack inner bags which don't fit, I thought I could use as a spare, The organizer that mounter on the Saddle lids.... I'm not really complaining being some would argue why put used parts on a new bike, I guess, but my stuff was nice. And dealer didn't care if I took these parts off.. I still have the OEM CVO bike cover, I assume that fits.

The transition from the "12" CVO to the new frame and M8 was a very good choice for my Lady and me. The seat is more comfy out of the crate. I pushed the frame to get any sort of wallow, didn't happen. The torque is impressive at 2k+, I slid the rear out w my lady on pulling out and left turn (dry/clean surface). Radio is good, phone storage is cool, lumbar is not on the passenger back rest, The Rushmore fairing does it's job for head bobble, unless you close it which I may never see a need too, With it open you could ride w a ball cap bill front and it would stay, close it and its gone. The engine is quieter no doubt, which can get you lost in gears if stumbling along, if your used to engine rattle to indicate which gear to go too.. the clutch is not my favorite, if you were slipping/riding w rear brake applied, the forgiveness sweet spot is way out their w little travel forgiveness. Now that I got all my comfort creatures on the stead around my feet, it is a lot of fun to get down and ugly on the switch back country roads, cause she really sticks and follows my head threw the turns.

I know this product comes w a nice warranty. However, the cost for them to apply and then warranty is steeper than I am willing to pay, but I like the product.. So w my deal I had them give me a pack and I apply w no warranty.. This is what I did today.

Smooth

Complete .. pic is not doing you or me any favors

I swapped items from my '13 SG: rider backrest, Custom Dynamics LED turn signals/brake, highway pegs, and mirrors. My '17 RGS is in the shop now getting new handlebars, passenger backrest/docking system, plug for heated seat, heated hand grips, and hidden antenna. Can't wait to pick it up!

Man. That is one fine piece of machinery. Plus the motor pulls like a train. Have fun.
