I’d also strongly suggest the new oil pump, but I doubt they’d cover that..

I know it - really PO'd they didn't put Cometic in the rear cylinder when it failed. I also told Rando about my concerns about possible sumping, given the conditions. That would take care of the oil pump if sumping is found. He deferred to the head gasket making the engine leaner (thus hotter) and also causing power loss. IDK what it is, but from what I heard when listening to my bike, there's got to be more wrong than just a head gasket.

this all sucks and rooting for a good outcome..guess the only thing good is having to do it in February instead of when the riding season is in full swing, good luck man hope they pull through with a big win for you!

Sorry to hear about possible sumping!

Anyone know cost of having oil pump replaced with latest Moco version at the dealer?

In the meantime I'm getting a list together for stuff I want to get done when I do my 25k service, i.e. steering head bearings:
- Hoping to do before spring, but I don't have a garage at the moment
- Legend Axeo front suspension
- LA Chopper Twin Peaks 10" (not going to anything higher)
- Arlen Ness polyurethane riser bushings
- Still have to figure out what I want to do with mirrors (do not want mirrors above the bars)

Do the rear shocks too if you can swing it and haven't done them already. I made it 2000 miles on my 2019 EGS before I installed Legend front and rear. Huge upgrade and IMHO well worth the money.

I hope you get everything sorted out with the engine.

Put the Revo-A on the back last year. Took me a bit to get them set up to feel plush - still haven’t found that yet.
