Easy decision.. Go with the Fuel Moto setup. Do it once, do it right. Then you will be setup for future upgrades. They are a one stop shop.

I was told by both Fuel Moto and Rush, that I would see a HP and TQ bump going with their headers. I have heard that 2 into 1 renders the biggest boost, but will I actually lose compared to what I currently have (stock header) or just not gain as much if I were to go 2-1 or 2-1-2?

Its all about the tune and the set-up.. Yes you can get the best from a 2 into 1, second best option is a 2-1-2 and lastly is the true dual which provides a different curve and most folks lose in the end with this system

No. Weather vs. weather.

I'm in no hurry. But if I'm going to make a 4hr. trek into Sconsin, I'm going to wait until the weather is at least somewhat predictable.

Also, I don't consider my dealer as a stealer. I have great trust in the service they provide.

Ditto. Been waiting weeks for a decent 4 day forecast to get to Kentucky. It's just that kind of year so far...

FWIW FM gets my vote too. It's $$, but you can always hang a dummy pipe if you don't like the 2/1 appearance.

All of the dealers in my area are ONLY selling the HD tuner. And of course if you put anything on other that what the dealer is installing you void your warranty....

While technically, you are right about the warranty, my dealer offered to install it, and said that they don't care what I do to the exhaust, and it won't effect my warranty - at least in that store. Now I know there is always a risk if I break down out of town, I may not get such cooperation.

Are you running their muffler, or the headpipe?
