Let me ask you this...

Have you ever Dyno-Tuned a M8 that DIDN'T Transfer Tranny Fluid to the Primary ??

My transmission got noisy before I started checking the oil level. Pretty noisy. But it got changed under warranty in the meantime. Unfortunately it's still transferring oil.

Did it ever occur to any of us that....... this might be the new norm? I own an M8..... we may never know what is the "fix"

Sooner or later, its going to cause an accident. If the clutches ride it too much oil sooner or later they are going to stick and drag someone into another vehicle. That will be a major lawsuit, especially with all of the documented cases. HD can't afford not to fix it. My opinion only.

Yes supposed to check cold, it's not as,accurate to check hot, but the fans cool it off pretty quick, besides the levels wpuld be higher on it hot, so if the trans is low when hot it should be lower yet when cooled.

Add another! Did my buddies 2017 Limited Low service on Friday. Checked trans fluid level, at the bottom of the stick. Opened the primary and found it over full. Not to the top but definitely over full. Sucked out 7.5 ounces to get the level correct. Knowing that, I added 7.5 ounces to the transmission and wadda-ya-know? Trans fluid level is now perfect. Gonna keep an eye on it since there is no confirmed fix for this issue. He changes engine oil every 2,500 miles so should be able to keep it in check.

Just thinkin out loud again......ya its dangerous I know.........

Is it possible the spacers are on backorder because the MOCO has finally learned that the seal and spacer does not resolve the issue? Maybe they are not saying this but by putting the spacers on backorder they don't spend more time and money paying dealers for a fix that does not work........considering the fix at the start was to replace the entire trans gear set, they stopped that after it did not fix the issue.......

Just sayin......maybe they are buying time and saving cost.......
