A buddy of mine just put 14s on a rk special. I know he didn't need any extensions. I believe he just rerouted the cables to get more length from them.

I'm pretty sure you won't need new cables or wire extensions if you go with the 12" Yaffe Bars. I installed the 14" Yaffe Bars on my CVO SG and I needed extensions but not by much. They look awesome with the Defiance Grips; I installed the Machine Cut Defiance Grips and Edge Cut Levers on my Yaffe Bars. Here is a pic so you can see what they look like. Hope this helps in your decision.

just trying to figure out who to go with

Carlini evil apes 1st choice.. but also like the look of

KST Kustoms

Paul Yaffe

Factory 47

Just not sure if one bar is more comfortable than others or if one brands quality is leaps and bounds over the other etc..

Picking the right Apes seems like a tough choice.

KST Double Troubles on my 17 RGS. No extensions or hydrolic lines needed. Cut the wire ties and remove the wiring loom for internals. Plenty of room. Over 14" and you will need parts...

I am intersted in that as well, looking at pics, seems like the angle is close to stock and have to really turn out the wrists, looking for something straighter as I am used to drag bars.

Bars are my next mod to my RKS. I cant stand the Factory bars. I have F47's on my RG. Thinking I will go with the Malo bars. Not sure on height yet. Probably 14. I want to internally wire the clutch and brake cables but not sure that is an option. Man this forum is expensive. Lol.
