Default M8 Bungie Strap Placement

On my 12 SG where the bags attach with the supports I was able to strap a bungie cord to this on a trip for some luggage. In my 17 SGS I can not find a hole or anything to hook a bungie cord to. I did see the strap that goes around the seat I could take that off and use the hole where the bolt strap goes? Seeing what others have done

I just installed these on my RKS last night. They seem to work well for the one time I've used them, and are pretty unobtrusive visually.

Don't know how they'd work with docking points, as I don't have any.

Yes that would not work for mine. I need them up closer to the shock. I have a bag on a luggage rack also that hooks to the 4 point docking hardware. This would be for a small bag on the rear of the seat that I am looking into

I don't have pictures, but I removed the seat strap and used the bolts to hold a loop of black nylon strap on each side. When not in use they just tuck behind the saddlebags.

I would like to see how you did this. I guess would it be a problem to remove the seat strap and use the holes as a point to hold a bungie cord? Should be strong enough? Seat will still stay on?
