Really enjoyed reading this well thought out mod thread.
Eautiful bikes. Great taste and execution.
big fan of the Oberon levers. Was a very early mod to my 014 Slim.

Great job on the documentation! This is an excellent write up on everything you’ve done. Too bad I didn’t get an “honorable mention” on the exhaust tips for the Street Cannons ..lol!

I used a 2016 CVO solo seat. I really like the height and comfort of this seat, it pushes me down and forward also.

Since I have some CVO bits and pieces, I have the CVO windshield trim and badges that will be going to powder coating.

11. Rear Wheel - Finally, weather is improving and winter mods are done. To match the front wheel, I powder coated the stock 16" Enforcer rear wheel. I wanted to make sure that the "linked brakes" feature and ABS worked, so I used HD ABS bearing. I compared an aftermarket wheel bearing and the HD ABS bearing had a larger surface area for the sensor (green part). No ABS errors!

Aftermarket ABS bearing surface area (green part). This might throw ABS error codes.

12. Blacked out parts - Since I was committed in blacking out my bike, I started sending my parts to D-Tech Coatings for gloss black powder coat. By doing in increments, it made the wallet's workload easier. D-Tech's gloss black is the closest to OEM as far as color. It's hard to explain but I noticed that the color is shinier and more depth compared to my local powder coater. D-Tech's exchange program of chrome to black parts was also fast, it prevented down-time since parts arrived immediately.

I also swapped the SE Street Cannons with black and sold the chromes. This forum's market place section have a lot of goodies to buy and sell.

I am still contemplating on the bars so I left it untouched. I might go with Twin Peaks gloss black soon.
