Default Seats, Seats, Seats....none seem to fit.

Well as of now I have tried 5 seats and have ordered a Mustang Wide Tripper that should be here Saturday. I am wanting to stay as close to the stock seating position as possible, could possibly go back or down a tad but not up and forward. If you know any more I should try let me know here are the ones I have tried already. I have also been considering sending the stock one into MCC just dont know if that will bring anymore comfort to the wife.

-Mustang lowdown
-Mustang Sport Touring
-HD reach seat (2008) harley
-HD reach seat current model
-HD Sundowner

Have you tried the new RG CVO seat? they look awesome! I know of a couple on here that have ordered them for their 17 bikes, though not sure if the were the SG or the RG.

I really want one for my RG but they're very expensive.

Mean city does some great stuff with seats, I'm sure they can work some magic for you.

I tested a Low Profile solo touring on my new Road King. I believe these are basically the same seat as the CVO without the style. It looks cool on the bike but I hated the ride. Most seats are like most motorcycles IMO. You can have one that looks cool or you can have one that is comfortable to ride. But you can rarely have both.

I had my OEM modified twice by Mean City. They done great work and I would use them again, but I was still a little too close.
So I tried the following
Harley Davidson Sundowner. Too high and too close.
Mustang Wintage Wide Solo. Too high.
C&C wide solo seat. Pefection!!!

Your mileage my vary

I have a 2017 Road Glide, I put a Mustang Super Solo with a back rest. Moved me back and 1 1/2 and up about 1 1/2. Like it a lot, only thing I had to get a little taller windshield.

Have one cut to fit you @$$
If the place is worth it's salt you will be there a while.
They will make you sit on your and ask you questions while they take measurements.
Make some changes and make you climb back on for more of the same.
Then they will send you out on a ride to check it out.
Then they ask you what you want it covered with.

I was quoted X +/- and it came in at X++
But I could climb in the saddle and ride all day.

The ticket is finding one in your area.
The day I had my seat done he had guys from Canada to Oregon at the shop.

I have a buddy with a situation like this....

She rides in the truck behind him..........................

Not saying that's your situation just saying, not all seats are made the same.
