Back before computers and such, VA uses to switch back and forth every year...My 46 Truck has Antique plates and that year was white on a black background and only on rear.

Throw it away and lean it on a wall or something. Not sure how you stand the zebra stripes on the motor or the donuts around the gages either. And surely you can get Canada to go black and white letter plates next year. .
Absolutely..Anyone worrying about what color his stand is is only going to get worst.
There is no worry or concern, just wondering if that was f'n how it was supposed to be or a dealer PDI mixup. This was the first one in western canada and hadn't seen any others to know what it should come with. Simple question and was looking for a simple answer. was that the correct part or not?
All the other chrome or polished metal is great, strategically placed, like the chrome on the gauges or fins. The jiffy however, looks out of place and an afterthought compared to the rest of the styling on the bike. Will definitely look into black chrome plating.
Why not just get your chrome one powder coated over the winter. I know you said you ride year round, so do I. But there are periods in the winter when you can't ride for several days. I have powder coated multiple parts on my Ultra to make it my own.
