Sorry I can't be any more help but there are a couple threads floating around about windshields, just do a search for sport glide and they should pop up. One guy found a company that makes, I believe, a 12 inch one. I tried the HD 5 inch and it didn't work for me.

Default Windshield

Tried klockwerks - no good. The hips send air at your ears. The tall Harley works wel but for some reason the tall Harley product cracks at the mounting holes where the bolts go through and climb up the windshield after about 100 miles. I’ve been through two of them

thanks for the feedback man. Bummer they can't make a real shield that functions and looks cool for this bike. Deal breaker for me.

I just did an advanced search using "sport glide" in the search window and narrowing the parameters to "softail and M8" and found the threads I had read earlier. Some of the guys have used a slipstreamer windshield that they seem to be happy with. I really like my Sport Glide as the lower seat height and 100lbs less weight are going to give me a couple more years of riding.

nice.
can you tell me what it feels like behind the short stock screen? Does it actually block any wind and make riding long distance less fatigue?
thanks

Default After market wind shield Sport Glide

I've just ordered one from Gustafsson Plastics, 12" dark gray. Took me awhile to find a good quality shield, looking forward to getting it in the mail, hopefully I won't be disappointed...

How’s that 12” windshield treating you?
