Default Blown head gasket!!!

Went for a ride on Saturday. Next morning noticed oil on the tranny cover, tranny case and some large oil shots under the bike.
Got the flash light out to inspect. Oil polled on the rear fins, and the rear 180° of the rear cylinder head.
9000 miles, still under warranty. Taking it in tomorrow.

Probably a faulty rocker cover gasket. Seems pretty common for some reason.

Not rocker cover. Oil residue and pooling on the rear fins of the rear cylinder. Where the head bolts to the cylinder the back 180° is wet wth oil residue. Nothing higher up from there.

Just went this, same ordeal rear head gasket leak. If you've had a stage 1 done be very specific when you take it in tell them DO NOT change your map or flash the ecm. They did mine and it isn't the same bike anymore.

I do have Stage 1. If they do remap/flash the bike, can you not remap with SEPST?
How many miles did you have on your bike when this happened?

Had a similar problem with mine, right at 10k miles. They ended up replacing the rocker, head and base gaskets under warranty.

You have to ask yourself,, self, why?
Why did my engine blow a gasket @ 10 K ?
I would demand an answer and ask if this will be an annual 10K gig ?
The dude in the back of the HD shop did no better of a job then when it was coming dwn the assembly line.
These are the things that bother me about HD

The head bolt flange nuts are known to break. So much so that the stage 3 a 4 kits come with new flange nuts. The cylinder studs are larger in diameter than on the TC, but the walls of the flange nuts are not any thicker. There are pics of broken nuts around here somewhere. This is a known weak area and may be worth the upgrade to Feuling/ARP fasteners.
