Default M8 humming noise around 30 mph

I have a 2018 FLHXS, it makes a humming noise around 30 mph. Anyone else experiencing this?

Could be the balancer.

...and maybe it hums because it doesn’t know the words.

cam or primary chain, maybe drive belt too tight..just thinking about some of the noises I / We here have noticed..these wheel bearings have beed some cause for concern too, even with low mileage..obviously under warranty so best bet is to hope it's repeatable for them on a test ride

Maybe he has a bumblebee trapped in his air intake?

Our 1 1/2 inch long bumblebees sound like a Harley doing 50 anyway!

When I took mine in for the 1k service, the tech told me a vent line was rubbing on the belt.
I hear a whining noise from about 1800 to 2300 rpm's (no it is not the passenger )

Tech said new pipes would fix it.

SO to fix a noise caused by a line rubbing against a belt, you need to purchase 600 dollar pipes?? I want that salesman on my team!

LOL I guess I worded that wrong. He adjusted the vent line so it wasn't rubbing anymore, but in reference to the whining noise he said louder pipes would take care of it.

Theres only one word it needs to remember, potato, potato, potato, potato......

Have you checked your tires? Belt rubbing? Chain tensioner too tight?
