I called Harley Davidson this morning. I wasn't able to get through to any kind of technical department, but I did talk to someone that sent me an e-mail so that I could send the information back to them. I also filled out the idea form they have on their website. In both instances I gave them as much information as I could on the fix. I don't know how it will turn out. I guess we'll have to see if they pick up the ball and run with it. Time will tell.

Even though the issue won't affect my bike $tonecold, thank you. I may someday move to a touring model and if so may benefit from your hard work. It is very selfless of you to share what you've done for the greater good, when you could have just sold "the fix" to those who will need it.

 

You're a good guy to give away something you worked hard to fix. That being said ,in order for them to accept your fix they'd have to admit that there's a problem to begin with and we all know how well the moco avoids that. Nice work either way.

 

I hope they will try your fix and maybe produce it for all of us. If they use it, I hope they will pay you for your efforts. You are a great guy!

Even though I just officially became a member of this forum, I have been following up on this thread since it was originated, and I honestly have to give $tonecold a HUGE & sincere and genuine thumps up for all the hard work you have put into this issue.

I know it's been said 100 times before, but you truly should hear it from every person that has benefit from your assistance, however, let's not also forget the other ones whom also have contributed to this cause.
