They’ve got to account for some issues arising when planning and quoting service times, for this and many other jobs.

Im sure the cops spend more time and put on more miles than me, so I have no problem with their bikes getting the fix first. Just hope moco gets lots more parts sent soon.
Hopefully they send you riders in the south all the kits first and leave us in the north till January. Our riding is mainly done in Canada till April anyways.

After spending my prior riding years up north (Minnesota), last winter was the first time I rode instead of hibernating the bike.

Called my local dealer and they said they weren't scheduling any customer bikes because they were using all parts on new bikes since you can't sell a bike with an open recall! I thought are you shittin me?! Called the next closest dealer and they have parts and are scheduling appointments! Mine goes in for recall in 2 weeks! Probably will never go back to first dealer!

You can bet both dealers used their first allocation of parts to remedy new stock on the show room floor. That is standard operating procedure. They usually don't tell you that though.

Got mine done yesterday. It took less than a hour and a half, including the after-the-recall bike wash and towel dry.

I really do like my dealership... Free beer as long as they're open and free lunches Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I was also treated to their free pancake breakfast while I waited and free coffee mugs to all veterans!
