I was “one of” first to call the (only) local dealer, after learning of recall from this forum. Got the letter earlier this week. Visited dealer Thursday. Service guy said they only got 2 parts in and used them on 2 cop bikes that had come in and been waiting.
Im sure the cops spend more time and put on more miles than me, so I have no problem with their bikes getting the fix first. Just hope moco gets lots more parts sent soon.

After spending my prior riding years up north (Minnesota), last winter was the first time I rode instead of hibernating the bike.

Called my local dealer and they said they weren't scheduling any customer bikes because they were using all parts on new bikes since you can't sell a bike with an open recall! I thought are you shittin me?! Called the next closest dealer and they have parts and are scheduling appointments! Mine goes in for recall in 2 weeks! Probably will never go back to first dealer!

Got mine done yesterday. It took less than a hour and a half, including the after-the-recall bike wash and towel dry.
I really do like my dealership... Free beer as long as they're open and free lunches Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I was also treated to their free pancake breakfast while I waited and free coffee mugs to all veterans!
