The one thing that I found in the video is that if a person has done "The Fix" the actuator housing with the hole drilled in it will be reused and the primary will still be vented. I think I would warn them of the modification before they do the recall work so they don't think it is a defect.

Talked my "go to" mechanic and in his normal manner had the issue fixed quickly. He took the bars and turned them so the clutch hose was at it's highest point and gave the clutch lever a few good pulls and the freeplay vanished. It's been solid all day. He thinks that there must have been a little air trapped under the little white disc with the two holes in it that you see when you look into the bottom of the reservoir.
Too bad it happened but I love the easy fix!

Mine was done this morning right on time. They do replace the Fluid with the new PLATINU Brake fluid. They did remove sidecar body to get at it. Road it about 100 miles in 26 degree weather noticed no difference. Works as it should.
Bike came out alot cleaner than it went in. I rode it there in snow.
