M8 Touring muffler/exhaust reviews - post it up
Here's what I have had on my 2018 Road Glide Special:
1. CVO mufflers with FULLSAC baffles - not much better than stock IMO.
2. SE STREET CANNONS - Better than stock, with some decel gurgle.
3. Bassani DNT Straight Can slip ons - Nice deep tone, better than stock; not very loud but a good rumble getting on the throttle.
4. TAB slipons with Zombie baffles - Pretty nice sound on throttle not too deep though, sounds mean when on the throttle, not obnoxious; 2.5 baffles are better than stock, easy to cruise with, not obnoxious.
5. SS MK45 slipons - very nice deep tone with stock header. Ran these with the FM headpipe and it sounded pretty damn good. Only a little bit louder with headpipe; head pipe not worth it for the stock motor, IMO, probably more beneficial with cam or other motor work.
Coming soon - Fuel Moto Hi Roller slipons with stock headpipe.

I had the street cannons on my 17 FLHTK and they were ok just a bit too quiet for my liking but definitely better than the stock muffs for sure. Especially after they were on there for 1,000 miles or so. Then I was gifted a new set of 4" Rineharts. I really like the rineharts, deeper sound and better sound under acceleration but not obnoxious to the rider while cruiseing done the highway.

We have Vance & Hines power duals with eliminator 400 slip ons, and Rinehart 2 into 1. They both have a nice tone to them, deep and not over powering. No heat issues. There was no performance gains in either bike, both have stage 1. I will be putting a cam in mine this spring and swapping the exhaust to the Rinehart 2 into 1.

I've tied stock, then V&H HO 450s, then Tab with Zombie baffles. I liked the Tabs the best for louder and bark, but I agree that they weren't deep enough. Next time you're bored, throw on the Tabs, pull out the baffles and install Thunder Torque Inserts from DK Customs. Man... what a difference! Without a doubt, that's the way I'm keeping mine.
