Default FXBB Engine Noise

2018 Street Bob, around 1500 miles with ZERO issues. Was parked for a week and when I rode yesterday I was getting some pretty bad engine noise from the top end. Being a moto guy the only way I can describe it is something similar to some cam or cam chain noise. I realize engine configuration is totally different, I just figured that would be a good way to communicate the noise.
Seems to be coming from directly under the tank. I've checked every fastener I can trying to find something loose, but wasn't able to.
Anyone have the same issue and find it? Hoping to get it fixed before I have to bring it in....

If you didn't already, check the flange nuts on the header. They are notorious for coming loose till you get the tongue set and it holds. I know cats who've lost the nuts completely.

Oh yeah, that was my FIRST stop. Been there. They were tight fortunately/unfortunately.

Does the sound vary with engine speed?

At low RPM it's most apparent, under acceleration it's hard to hear but I feel like it is still there. Seems to be less apparent under compression braking, but that could just be a symptom of the inability to feel or hear it due to vibration.
The vast majority of my experience is on the dirt, but I do feel like this could definitely be a loose fastener somewhere. My gut reaction wants to say it's NOT internal.

Sounds like it might be the anti-knock. Try putting some fuel additive in and see if it goes away.

Not sure either but a video with audio might be able to help some of the more experienced members, if it all possible.
