Default One More Fat Tired Road Glide!

Finally got my fat tire kit installed! Been waiting on Lyndall rotors on back order. As soon as I got the front end apart I get a call from ***** Shiny that my rotors are in! Imagine that. Lol. Here's a few pics.

Here is the rotors and wheel spacers from ***** Shiny! The front wheel is coming off one more time!

Looks great! Did it change your ride at all? If so in what ways?

I lowered the bike 2" front and rear. I used the Progressive 2" kit up front and Burly Slammers out back. The ride is stiffer from the suspension change, however, it tracks like it's on rails. Counter steering takes less input because there is 3" more tire to push into overall. Low speed handling is about the same. Best mod I've done to my bike so far. I may change the suspension down the road but I am happy for the moment.

Great looking set up. I’ve been considering this myself. What all did you change other than lowering the bike? I can see front wheel, tire and fender. Anything else?
Thanks

The upper and lower sliders were changed also. I bought the Native kit. The lowers and uppers are machined to allow clearance for the wider wheel and tire.

What front wheel is that?
Looks like the original design, is it a 18" or 19" or bigger?

it is 18x5.5". Look up Metalartopia.com They make a Talon wheel. I chose theirs over the SMT because their hub is solid and not star shaped. I just feel it gives the wheel a cleaner look.

It is the Half Breed. I like it because it has just a bit of the original Fender design.
