Default is the dealer being shady?

So I finally bring my 2019 rgs in for its 1st service. has 1500 miles. I tell them the trans fluid is not on the dipstick. There is a burned oil smell when the engine is hot after decal while coming to a stop.
When I picked up the bike, I put a 100 miles it the first day and checked the fluids when I got home. The trans was already on the add line. And the engine oil was low. 2 qts I informed them about it and they told me that the engine is new and it soaks up the oil into cases. ( I just laughed in my head and said ok) They did say bring it by and we will top it off. I wasn't able to return with it for them to do that, so I just added engine oil and watched the trans fluid slowly get lower and lower, It was very low but still reading on the stick the day before the service. And not on the stick the day of. I didn't want to add any so the low trans fluid would be documented. the engine oil level was also low when I dropped it off.
When I finally read the receipt it said they couldn't duplicate engine oil complaint during a 3 mile road test. and they couldn't duplicate the trans complaint, trans fluid is at proper level. No mention of the trans being low or the engine oil be low.

your engine oil was 2 quarts low after its first service followed by a 100 mile ride? you told them that and they said the reason is because the engine cases 'absorbed it' being new and all..try a different dealership and start over

I've heard of porous cases before, but that's ridiculous.

Dealers blowing smoke up your skirt, either raise hell with the GM or find another dealer and push the issue, no engine is going to go thru 2 qts in a 100mi.

Proper procedure is Check the trans level cold and on the jiffy stand. But.......check the engine oil HOT AFTER IDLING ENGINE FOR 1-2 MINUTES also on jiffy stand a couple of minutes after shut down. Just making sure that you are checking levels properly. Dutchy
