Considering a 2019 or 2020 114 Ultra
My riding buddy passed up on a new HD and went with a 2019 Indian Roadmaster. I want either a 2019 or 2020 114 Ultra.
We both have RKs, but these touring bikes would be for taking the wives on trips.
So what are the chances of sumping or fluid transfer on a 2019 114 bike ? I don't hear much about the 114 in the posts regarding sumping, which might be harder to control than on a 107 since the volume of air in the crankcase moving back and forth is greater. As far as fluid transfer, it sounds like the primary vent takes care of it, but not sure if the new bikes are coming that way from the factory.
Opinions and observations welcome.

chances are low
the new bikes being shipped have the primary vent as OEM

If you have the option to wait for the 2020, why not wait? As MJWebb said, you'd get a better deal on a 2019 once the 2020's are out. But the main reason I'd want to wait is because of the oft-rumored (although, apparently, baselessly) move to a new stiffer frame like the Softails got in 2018.

Do yourself a BIG favor. Wait 8 weeks to see what upgrades, technical improvements and colors HD launches with the 2020 models at the end of August. Buying a 2019 bike 8 weeks before the launch of the 2020's would be a decision and purchase FULL of regret.

a single letter change in your statement 'would' make it more plausible....change the w to a c and I agree

You stick to your quotes and I'll stick to mine. "WOULD" is the operative word in my post and reflects my opinion exactly. No problem if you or anyone else disagrees with my opinion. It won't be the first time or the last.

Yeah, given that I am not in the market for new motorcycle, my advice would be to wait and see what the new year models have going for them. I bought my 2016 not knowing there was a new motor coming the next year. I loved my 2016 but the M8 is a much better machine.
I usually can't wait. If the time has come, I'm buying, and nothing can stop me.
