How to supercharge your M8
#12
Yep it doesn't take much. I blew my clutch basket on a 300+ hp dyno run and parts got under the alternator, between the chain and sprockets. forced the crank apart, Split the cases, totally destroyed my engine. But my compensator was perfect. Small plus on a bad day. Now I make a billet clutch basket as well. Working through the weak points!!!

Your looking at about $6500.00 for the kit. You will need forged pistons, a good cam and my compensator ramps and clutch basket to keep it together. Welding the crank pin is a good idea. But you will be running 200/200 power. I do have a customer running 210whp, 205 ft.lb of torque FXDR.. He's done 3000 miles with this set up. He's just come back for more power!!!. So we are fitting the strongest crank possible.
We fitted a 65mm throttle body and bigger intercooler and saw 270whp before running out of duty cycle on the injectors. We did this before we stripped it just to get an idea how close we could get to his 300whp goal. The rebuild will have big valve heads and the strong crank. Bigger injectors and fuel pump. I think we can meet his goal. This is on pump gas as well.
The kit adds about 20lb to the weight.

Nice kit, Although in the video when you referenced the drive system and said “no one else had thought of this before” (referring to driving off the primary chain) I had to chuckle a little. You are the first to bring this type of drive system to market, you have my applause for doing so.
