Running these with Fuel moto headpipe . just added Woods M8-22x cam . Anyone running this and is it a ok combination ?I know a 2-1 would be better but just wondering if this setup is ok .. To cold to try right now ...Thanks

 

I had DNT's on my twin cam Road King for a while. They sounded great but the large baffles made them hard to tune (and I wasn't the only one to experience this). There was a sizable drop in the torque curve between 2000-2500 rpm that the tuner couldn't get rid of.

Not saying this will translate directly to your situation but it's known that the M8 is even more sensitive to lack of back pressure than the twin cam is, so.....

 

Would Thunder Torque inserts help or not really ??

 

Yes, they probably would.

And, I believe Fuel Moto now offers something that would help too.
