Does anyone know when Dynojet is releasing a Target Tune module for the 21+ ECM? Or, if Harley is planning to release their closed loop tuner (which can be used just like the Target Tune)?

Would suggest a call to Fuel Moto, they are very close to the Dynojet team.

 

There is not currently an ETA for Target Tune for 21-up models. The new Delphi MT22 ECM has completely different architecture than earlier units and current resources are aimed at getting support, features, & tunes across the full product line and assorted models, there will however be wideband O2 integration in the future.

 

Thanks Jamie. I know I need to buy the new PVB3 cable for my Power Vision for a 21+, but is there an adapter (or does it even work with the new ECM) to run the Auto Tune Pro module and be able to tune it not on the dyno? I have both the 4 and 6 pin versions of the Auto Tune module. I'm assuming the Auto Tune module just need to be powered and then hooked to the Power Vision via the CAN cable. If so, and a plug in adapter doesn't exist yet, I could just make an adapter to power the Auto Tune module off the bike.

 

So If I understand correctly, The old target tune system that I use on my old Twin Cam wont work on the 21 and up M8? In other words once a target tune system is developed for the 21 and up M8 it will be a completely different unit? Can the old target tune system be used to Auto Tune a 2021 M8? I purchased a 2021 Street Glide and am selling my old 2013 Electra Glide with Target Tune. Sounds like I just as well leave it on the old bike?

Not really sure what’s so hard to understand. Jamie said there’s no ETA on when the target tunes will be available for the 21+ models. If the previous years were compatible we wouldn’t be waiting

 

Just got off the phone with Bryce Emmons at dynojet and there still is no ETA on target tuner kit for 2021+.
