Default Changing wheels

I have a 2020 road glide limited, 18 inch front OEM wheels front and back. I was looking at wheels on HD.com and see that Harley Davidson only list 19 inch front wheels for the bike. So I suppose you are expected to purchase a new front tire as well? Why do they not have 18 inch wheels for the front of this particular bike?

Mostly because the 18" size isn't as popular as a 19" or 21".

I swapped my 2020 RGL 18" wheels last year for the Bronze Prodigy wheels from MoCo. Had to get new rotors, bearings, and tires.

If you're keen on keeping an 18" to reuse what's left of your current tires, you might find an aftermarket offering. But how much would you save when you have to pay labor to remove the old tire and reinstall it on the new wheels?

I sold my 18" wheels with about 2900 miles on them for close to $750 I think, it's been a while. Having the chance to upgrade to Dunlop American Elite tires on the new wheels was a plus, IMHO.

The bike is equipped with rdrs, what effect does that have on changing wheels?

I had no issues when swapping, and I have RDRS. Going from 18" to 19", your overall tire diameter will not change. If you so to a 21" overall diameter would be larger. It's quite possible there is a setting in the BCM to change it to the larger wheel. The CVO RG comes with a 21" front wheel and has RDRS, so it's definitely possible.
