Also had Progressive, for my '07 Ultra it was over $500. Switched to Dairyland last year, about $200 less. As far as settling a claim with Dairyland, can't say, and hope I never have to find out.

Just renewed my Markel policy this morning for the year. Markel was the best pricing I found. I'm running high coverage on BI and UI and a 5k accessory coverage. Never had a claim and hope to never have one but I've talked with them on the phone several times, always pleasant to deal with.

I did shop around before renewing my policy and Markel was still the best.

I switched to Dairyland two years ago ... It was the cheapest ( and the best coverage ) of what I shopped. Fortunately I haven't made an insurance claim on any of my scooters in over 50 years.

In the summer I switched to Wolverine Mutual.

Very happy with the rates.

Interesting. When i bought a dyna in the 90's the dealer recommended Allstate.. I shopped around they were the best deal. Still to this day the best deal. PS I did move all my homes, cars because they gave me a great deal.. still shopping around today and no ins co. can beat their prices-es.

Having your cars and house with the bike will really bring down your rates. I use to check around every year until I found Safeco insurance best insurance I have every found, I'm not looking for the cheapest but they were near that also. My bike is $409 a year with $150 deductible on both comp and collision and $0 on theft. But I don't really know what others are paying so I'm not sure if these are good rates.
