05 flhtcse2 $300/yr
87 560sl $200/yr
06 kia spectra 540/yr
09 pontiac vibe 500/yr
08 hyundai tiburon 700/yr

everything is full coverage 500/500 ded on comp/coll and 250,000/500,000 on liability and unisured and underinsured. Medical is 2000.

Make sure you let your agent know about upgrades. If you are paying insurance based on a stock model, and it is a 100% loss, you will be compensated for tha actual cash value of that model. The insurance company is not trying to rip you off, that's all you are paying for. I've been a Farm Bureau agent for a little over 5 years and the only thing I know for sure is that insurance is complicated.

I'm appalled. I went on the HD HOG site today and got an online quote for bike insurance for kicks. It was with Progressive. To match my Dairyland Cycle Insurance policy line for line, they wanted 832$ a year! I pay$252 a year. Y'all need to go get an online quote from Dairyland.... and no, I don't work for them. I just don't like to give away money to insurance companies for nothing.... rather spend it on shiny stuff for my ride. I have full coverage, 500$ deductible and100/300 liability coverage etc..... enjoy.

I have '08 Road King, with 100k 300k and 100k plus I boosted up Optional or Added Equipment for 8K(which covers replacing my chrome) total cost for the year is 1,004. What you have to ask your company is, "If bike is not totaled out DO YOU REPLACE WITH ORIGINAL HD PARTS). You will see that is why some companies are cheaper you won't get HD parts.

Default Insurance rates are cheaper for motorcycle riders

Insurance rates are cheaper for motorcycle riders than for car drivers. The damage a biker can do to someone else is less than what you could do if you were driving a car. The liability exposure is less. Except for a Harley and some other bikes in the $15,000 to $20,000 range, motorcycles are less expensive than most cars.

Both of my Harleys cost me less than $400 per year, combined. That's with a $500 deductible. Ohh.. and with a 'mature driver discount' since I'm 51, and have been riding for 41 of those years.

2005 Road King Classic $635.00 yearly. 2004 Chevy Impala $825.00 yearly. Small 2 bedroom house $500.00 a year. State Farm. 52 yrs. old Chicago. Seems a little steep.
