Been with Dairyland for seventeen years. No claims, no tickets. Paid my "classic" premium every year. Just received my most recent billing statement for about $350 (two bikes).

Last week a Dairyland agent other than my original agent called me and told me that I qualified for the Dairyland Gold Program. She sent me a quote. Same coverage as I have now for $150. Yep, I looked more than twice.

I have always believed that if something is too good to be true, it usually is. Think this is legit?

I plan to call both my original agent and this new agent next week to see what they have to say. May call Dairyland too.

 

Don't give out any of your personal Information unless you know for sure who your speaking with. This could be a clever deception/social engineering. Seriously, when has anyone's insurance ever been halved?

 

Agree w/ 3illy that it could be a scam to gather your personal info and not Dairyland who called. On the other hand, Dairyland charges me half what any other insurer I could find charges for the same coverage. It's nice for me to learn they've been around for 17 years.

 

The "Gold Program" is legit. If you have Dairyland, check it out with your agent. I saved $200.
