Default Help me identify this springer part!

I just bought a box of miscellaneous springer parts. I dont know what this is from. Its not from 88 up fx softail springer or 97 up heritage fls. I figure the set screws were installed by a previous owner. Also probably aftermarket, but what manufacturer. Any ideas what this fits? Any help is appreciated. Thanks Scott

You sure it's not a top tree clamp for late model springer? Pretty sure I have seen that one before and it's definitely not for early big twin/flathead springers.

If not for late model springer, then one of those asian imports would be my guess. Asian imports are sometimes 5.25" between legs. Harley springers are 4.75"

Definitely not a Harley springer either from 1988 up or 1997 up. I found the exact thing on a local craiglsit. At one time somebody reproduced a springer that looks exactly like the harley springer except is was inline. There was not, to my knowledge, a chrome Harley factory produced inline springer. The one on craigslist was inline, chrome, and looked exactly the same except for the top clamp and there were no numbers on the back of the bottom clamp, and the fork stem was larger diameter, and the risers were different. The seller says he thinks it was an old Paughco springer. The mystery is solved. Thanks guys for your input.

by the way the set screws were not installed by a previous owner, it was that way from the manufacturer!
