Disagree about the comment saying it’s hard to sell a bike that is financed. Not sure why it’s a big deal. You can go to any HD Dealer and they will finance the new buyer and HD will split the money corrrectly. If they buyer is paying cash or Cashiers Check, they can make the entire amount out to the finance company. The finance company will pay off the bike, send the seller a check for the balance, and send the SELLER the title. The seller will need to sign over the title of the bike to the buyer. Sure, there is some trust involved but when you have a documented paper trail, fraud is hard to get away with. You can always have the bill of sale with terms and conditions notarized as well. The buyer will have the bike in their posesstion. I’ve done this dozens of times without issue.
