Low mileage bike – 15,000 total miles, drivetrain completely stock, engine/trans never opened, intake stock, bike needs noting. Within the last 1k miles the following was done; new tires, tubes, battery, brake pads, all fluids changed, and a Pingel petcock installed. Has a tach, luggage rack, windshield, tool bag, beach bars, H-D lock, sissy bar, big headlight, and more chrome than I care to polish. Just finished a 1,000-mile run from Las Vegas to Big Sur (see photo of bike at the ocean.). Comes with two keys, rider’s handbook, and workshop manual (CD). I’m 74, and won’t be doing anymore riding. My problem is with my replaced knees. Don't get me wrong, replacing them was the right thing to do. Could only walk 50-100 feet before the pain took over. Now, no sweat. Unless I lock them into position on the forward controls. Brings tears to my eyes in more ways then one. My first H-D was a stock 1963 Panhead. I started riding a little Jap 90cc when I was 15. I'm 73- guess I've had a good run.
No more bikes, No more alcohol. No more sex, eyes going. Can't pass a medical for my pilots license.
... sometimes it's just not worth gnawing through the straps in the morning.
