its been several years, but there was a gas station, out in the country, seems like it was South West of ST Joseph, MO. I think it was an East/West highway and the gas station was on the south side of the road, maybe on top of a hill? but in the back of the gas station there was a burger grill and they had a great Tenderloin sandwich. anyone remember where i am talking about?

 

Are you thinking about Hilltop Cafe? It’s in Easton, just south of Atchison. Little gravel parking lot, liquor store on one side and gas station/restaurant on the other that makes fantastic pies.
